Dato’ Darawati has amassed over 2 decades of experience in corporate finance, asset management, and private equity. Initially, she was in a Leading Commercial Bank in Malaysia, as part of the corporate advisory team. Five years earlier, she was a European Portfolio manager for a US fund management company, with assets under management of USD70 billion.

 

She established and created a private equity franchise for a Leading Commercial Bank, and was a driving force behind its initiation of Shariah-compliant private equity funds. At present, Dato’ Darawati is a member of the Board Investment Committee of Malaysia Venture Capital Management Berhad (MAVCAP), as well as the Director of various private-limited companies.
